About Us

FOUNDER

Irma Gabriela Nadir, MPH
Public Health Professional Certified in Gerontology

Welcome!

I am a Mexican immigrant that identifies with a community that respects and loves our elders. I am an inspiring leader with an unwavering passion for community and public service, working with diverse communities and advocating for progress in underserved communities for over two decades. I have competent knowledge of public health and healthy aging with interest in strengthening local, state, and federal support for older adults, including quality of care throughout the end stages of life.

A strong passion drives me to educate the public on current and future trends in older adults experiencing Alzheimer’s and related dementias, improving quality of life, aging with dignity and providing tools to caregivers and family members caring for older adult loved ones. Expanding community public health in underserved populations is central to all my future goals.

I have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Public Health. My particular interest and love for learning about aging procured a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology. My passion for public health and community health education encouraged me to obtain a Master’s in Public Health- Community Health Education (MPH) from California State University, Northridge. I am currently in pursuit of acquiring a Ph.D. in Gerontology.
